Paul Zimmerman

Paul is a licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado. After earning his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, Paul went on to obtain his doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1997. Paul has spent his career working with adults, families, adolescents and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Most recently, Paul has worked as a psychologist in the Cherry Creek School District helping students to achieve success by accurately identifying barriers through comprehensive psychological evaluations as well as teaching the social and emotional skills they need.

Paul’s areas of expertise include working with both adults and children struggling with various forms of anxiety, ADHD, depression, performance challenges, and decision-making skills.

In his work with children and teens, Paul assists families with obtaining an accurate understanding of the barriers to their child’s success so that they can be addressed. Paul uses his many years of experience helping others as well as his “real life” experience raising four children of his own to walk with families with humor and positivity through the challenges they face to experience growth and healing. Paul’s approach is unique in that he functions much as a “coach” for families and individuals who would like to experience life in a more satisfying way.
